The Reverend Terry Reisner

Fr. Reisner was called as Vicar in March, 2007. In many ways he is a lot like St. Paul church -- mature and experienced but also new. For over a decade he gained experience as a professional lay youthminister but only recently was ordained by the Rt. Rev. James Stanton.

While in college he was counseled to consider youth ministry as a profession. In 1992 he served as the first Youth Minister and Director of Christian Education at Trinity Episcopal Church in Marshall, Texas, and then worked in Youth Ministries in the Ukraine, Florida and Texas before entering seminary.

Fr. Reisner attended seminary at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia from 2002 to 2005 and attended the Artizo Institute, a Leadership Training Intership, from 2003 to 2005. After seminary he returned to the Diocese of Dallas, was ordained to the priesthood in June, 2006 and served as Curate at St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Frisco until he was called to St. Paul. At St. Philip's he focused on Adult Education, Spiritual Formation and Discipleship, and Children's, Youth and Men's Ministries. Fr. Reisner is a gifted teacher and preacher of God's Word.

He has been married for over seventeen years to an incredible soul mate and friend, Glenna; they have been blessed with three children, Alex, Alyssa, and Kyle.
