Organizations & Activities

St. Paul Church is blessed with a very strong Church Family. Through the enthusiasm of our volunteers, we are able to offer a full calendar of events. There are many ways to become involved at St. Paul. Activities and organizations include:

Daughters of the King (DOK)
Not a social group, but an organization of women who pledge themselves to daily prayer, service and personal evangelism. They meet the first Saturday of the month, at 10 a.m.

Junior Daughters of the King
For young ladies between the ages of 8 and 18, our St. Mary Chapter DOK installed the first Junior DOK in the Diocese of Dallas on April 13, 2002.

Brotherhood of St. Andrew
An organization for men, this group meets at 8:00 a.m. on the second Saturday of every month for breakfast, fellowship and community outreach.

Welcome Ladies

ECW (Episcopal Church Women)
This group is part of a National organization of women who meet regularly for fellowship and community outreach. The St. Paul ECW hosts fundraisers throughout the year and the funds raised go to help both the church and the community. They meet the third Wednesday of every month, at 6:00 p.m.

EYC (Episcopal Young Churchpeople)
An organization of fellowship for junior- and senior-high youth. Our group is very active in Diocese of Dallas Youth Commision such as Happenings, New Beginnings, the Annual Bishop's Ball, and the "Summer in the City" program to help disadvantaged youth in the inner city. Our youth have fun together through a variety of activities and trips they take together. Their regular meetings are on Sunday afternoons.

Kids for Christ
This group is for kids in third through sixth grade. The kids meet the last Sunday of the month for fun and group activities.

Foyer Groups
For fun only, these are small groups of adult couples and singles who gather in individual homes for dinner and fellowship. Groups usually meet monthly.

Liturgical Lay Ministry
Men and women of the church participate in the liturgy as layreaders, chalice bearers, Eucharistic lay ministers, and choir members. The youth of the church may serve as acolytes. Layreaders, chalice bearers, Eucharist lay ministers and acolytes all assist the priest at the altar.
